Cookie Policy

Last Updated: March 15, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how EOXLABS LLC uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on DDSHARED. We believe in transparency and minimal data collection.

Our Approach to Cookies

DDSHARED uses only essential cookies and browser storage. We do not use third-party analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Our privacy-first architecture means we collect the minimum data necessary to operate our service.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. They help websites function properly by remembering your preferences and authentication state. DDSHARED also uses browser local storage and session storage, which serve similar purposes but are accessible only by web applications.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Local Storage

We use browser local storage to persist authentication state and user preferences across sessions. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless required for API authentication.

Session Storage

Session storage is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab. We use it for sensitive temporary data that should never persist beyond the current session.

Security note: Encryption keys stored in session storage are never written to persistent storage and are cleared when you close the tab. This is by design — your encryption keys should not persist beyond an active session.

What We Do NOT Use

Analytics cookies

No Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, or similar

Advertising cookies

No ad tracking, remarketing, or conversion pixels

Social media cookies

No Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, or Twitter tags

Third-party tracking

No cross-site tracking of any kind

Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set their own cookies when you interact with their functionality:

Managing Cookies & Storage

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can view, delete, and block cookies from specific sites. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent DDSHARED from functioning correctly.

Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Safari Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Edge Settings → Privacy, Search, and Services → Cookies

Clearing Local & Session Storage

To clear DDSHARED local storage data, use your browser's developer tools (Application → Storage) or log out of your DDSHARED account, which automatically clears authentication tokens.

Impact of Disabling Cookies

Disabling essential cookies and local storage will prevent you from logging in and using DDSHARED. Your preferences will not be saved, and file encryption operations may fail without session storage access.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. Check the "Last Updated" date for the latest version. We will not introduce tracking or advertising cookies without updating this policy and providing notice.
